Yes, that would present a few problems in the theatre. Clean up would be the first one. Everyone in the cast and audience getting hearing damage would be another. Aside from the obvious murder charge.
Nice story about a couple that need some serious marriage counseling.

I love your macabre sense of humor! They had so many .357 magnum is Shakespeare's day! I guess it must be one of those Shakespearean plays where they use modern costumes instead of the traditional ones. I think you'd have to run the gun through the prop manager though!

Nice little twist here to add humour to your 100-word story. Yes, blasting poor old innocent Desdemona with a magnum seems a little extreme, although who knows if Jane deserves the same consideration?
Good luck in the contest with this original piece.

Hi there,
Hector's plot may have been a tad see-through!
I enjoyed this shot of micro fiction. Nice to see an actual story entered. Well written, and fun.
Nice job.

Well, you gotta admire a man for trying. Perhaps if Hector had decided to use a dagger instead of the .357 magnum pistol, it would have gone much better for him in the end. Not so for Jane, I'm afraid, but at least it would have been keeping in the spirit of the times. I'm not too sure, but I don't believe .357 Mags were invented in the time of that famous old bard, Bill, but...I could be wrong.
Funny story, poor Hector, lol.
Good luck!

HAHAHAHAHA! Oh, this is just TOO GREAT! I haven't read a 100 word story I liked this much in a long time. Everything about this little gem just sings. (There go my good intentions, yet again! I was DETERMINED to hoard my sixes this week!)

Imagine what damage a Freudian slip can do to a well devised plan to murder one's spouse. Oh, well, maybe next play! Good story and clever ending,
Rhonda

I think you've missed a vital bit of wording here! But the stand alone is the .357 magnum at the end, brilliant piece of short scribing, can't help but think you'll do well in this 100 word dash, contest, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
Spag ; He could accidentally ( ) her in the rehearsal?

My view of the story shows the word OFF clearly. It means to kill, in this context. {He could accidentally off her...) Thank you for the excellent review.

I think Hector wants to go to prison really fast. Theater isn't what it used to be. This is good and funny little tale. Well done.

Othello is one of my favorite Shakespearean plays. Hamlet the first. I really love this 100 word story. It's quite, to the point and funny.
