This is a beautiful presented tribute, with lovely glittery words that spell out a sincere message. We all got to know every antic of Sawyer through the eyes of a loving Grandmother. We hope to have Brooke back with us and continuing with her great entries on FS, where she is loved so much.
Great addition to all the other tributes.

Your poem is beautifully written, warm and heartfelt. I enjoyed reading it and I hope Brooke gets well. I do not know her, but it seems a lot of Fanstory writer's do. Your poem flows and rhymes well and artwork choice is great!

Well stated salute to Brooke, voicing the sentiments of most of the Fanstory
group-all that knew her. The rhymes are just enough to spice the free verse.
Excellent.

I too hope that Brooke will get well soon, through all the poems I've read over the last couple of days I can see that she is very much loved on Fanstory, I hope that it shan't be long before we see her back again.

Really nice dedication to Brook and I know she will love the glitter words...you realize that it gives someone inspiration to talk to them about their grandkids! So this is beautiful and encouraging...a healing touch

I was pleased to see your name pop up when I arrived home. Thank you for your tribute to Brooke--she has taught us all to see the beauty in Dandelions and allowed us to watch Sawyer become a little boy. My mother was diagnosed with MS late in life and lived with the disease for almost 20 years. Let's hope Brooke does as well. I enjoyed your rhymed tercets and your title says it all! Hugs- Joan

Hi Sweetness, I know Maureen has had it for years...so I hope they can get it under control for her...and she can come back to us...I sure miss her...she our teacher in poetry, in life and in nature...sigh...I am glad you are home safe...and hope it was a wonderful trip...now put the brakes on and rest...big hugs back at ya...love ya Linda xxoo
-
Thanks for thinking about me--it was a good trip and I am trying to pace myself and hope to post a poem-card tonight.
My mom died in 1994 and I thought by now modern medicine would have made more progress with the disease. We can only hope for a miracle for Brooke and Maureen. More hugs- Joan
-
I am so sorry about your mother Joan...Maureen came back for awhile...I wish Brooke would...sigh...and I always think about you...I'm seeing the world through your eyes...and smiling big...love ya you...Linda xxoo

You are a sweetheart. I am thrilled that you can see the world through my eyes--how wonderful that my poem-cards can capture what I observe. I think of you too and hope you are taking good care of yourself. As with our friends, my mother was a fighter and she proved that life is worth living even with severe impairments. I'm thinking positive thoughts about Maureen and Brooke. More hugs- Joan
-
that's the only way I can see the world with you...you keep forgetting to pick me up on the corner ...LOL...have you ever been left on a corner with Michael...LOL...like you I am thinking positive about Maureen and Brooke...just wish they would get back here...sigh...big hugs...Linda xxoo
-
I've shared banter with Michael, which is rather like being left on a corner with him. LOL Here's to more armchair traveling with you and some good news about Brooke and Maureen! -J

This is a lovely ode to Brooke. I think the poem got progressively better during the second half. When you said, "you took a weed", I thought it would follow with something like "and made a flower". This part was a bit confusing for me. Regardless, I enjoyed your writing. Thank you for sharing.

One of the difficulties with FanStory is that it heavy on middle aged and seniors. Your poem is a wonderful tribute to Brooke. I like the glittering image.
