Heh-heh...well, aren't we all? Biodegradable, I mean? There are many uses for those plastic bags besides murdering someone. They can be used in small trash bins around the home, thus recycling then comes into play. They're also great to have to pack your necessities in when you go to spend a night at your mistresses house...if you're a man, of course. I'm not sure what the male equivalent is to a mistress. I've never really given it much thought. Although these days, it's almost just as likely for your wife to have a mistress as well.
Well done, and good luck in the contest. ~Dean

That was brilliant! A horror story that makes you read it and read it again! If that was lengthened and made into a short story of a mini film, it would hit the top ten list! Well done, it was really good! xsx Sandra

Hi,
This is a good write for the start of a murder mystery.
Plastic bags make are good for that sort of thing I guess. I thought the end line was excellent.
Over all, I think it is a good piece for the contest. Good luck.

Hi there,
This is a pretty tough contest with many good pieces. I really liked this one, Great closing line as well - but did he leave the plastic bags on. Naughty Ned.

Thank you, GMG, for looking at this. No wives were hurt in the making of this story.

What a guy! Ned is thinking of the planet! A quick entry into a story of
horror, just as requested. Good job of telling a story in
just a few words.

Now THIS is a good story! Congrats on an interesting and scary tale. Biodegradable, indeed. Story flows well, is clear. Good descriptions. The start of a longer tale perhaps? Marilyn/BeasPeas

This hit my "horror" button in the center and hard! I have always been claustrophobic and can't even read about someone being buried alive. You did a good job with this challenge.

Oh wow, what a turnabout. If people can't get the message about going green then they should be part of the solution and no the problem, like fertilizer. Nice job.

Hilarious! Seems the husband was listening to his wife after all. Definite main character and conflict. Nothing left to the reader's imagination except for that horrible slow way of dying.
