Hi there,
This is a lovely little whimsical piece. I like the imagery and the picture you give of a dog heaven. The last line is pretty funny too. Nicely done

Ine;
+ Picture is outstanding and is very relative, appropriate, reflective and complementary to your poem.
+ Imagery is very demonstratively expressive and vividly descriptive as it visualizes heaven for dogs very well.
+ The rhyming words are neither forced nor labored and contingent to the concept of each line which is very important because it also helps with the rhythmic flow of the poem;
+ rhythmic meter(Intermittent syllable count per line), cadence, timing and tempo all were helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and easy.
+ Poetic assessment: I very much enjoyed this as it was also quite humorous when you mentioned that in dog heaven cats are not allowed or aren't there. Also the writing was done very well and I enjoyed the poem very much.
+ Thank you for sharing and posting and may the good Lord be with you always my dear friend.

A wonderfully pleasant poem, but I have to disagree about heaven being a delight because there's no cats. My first dog was best friends with my cat back then. They used to chase each other around for fun. Nice rhyming. Reads well. Thanks for sharing. Les

I did not expect your clever punchline, and was pleased that you answered your question! I also enjoyed your rhymed quatrain and striking artwork. Many cheers- Joan

I LOVE dogs. Your poem is great (and a bit funny). Yes, all dogs go to Heaven. Do you know Rainbow Bridge? Google it if not. It is great. No changes. Thanks for sharing. No changes needed.

Virtual six! Gives hope even to me. I'm going to share this with my daughter. She's frightened because our dog is 14 years old... We all need poems like this; to keep us positive about our pet's death and all... Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming. God Bless, Deb

Wait, wait, wait, I am a cat lover and there has to be at least one in Heaven for me.
Nice piece.
Flow and meter are spot on.
Rhyme and rhythm are great.
Very well done...except for the lack of cats.

Hard to say, but I have two cats that love my dog. They get along fine. Not sure about dogs in heaven would be nice though. I miss the one I had. Thanks for sharing.
