Hey Mikey. I don't tolerate bullying either, not in public or in private. The Internet is of course a hotbed of anonymous bullying and a remarkable testimony to cowardice. But you gotta be careful, because sometimes those bullies are killer DANGEROUS! ;-)

You speak my mind in some ways, Michael. And you did it clearly and concisely. However, I would be inclined to "quietly" take the boss aside and tell him what I thought. Calling him out in the same manner that he bullied the ee would possibly escalate the problem, and shame/blame usually does not result in changed behavior. Let me know if I misinterpreted your splendid essay. Caroline

Okay then - am assuming you are talking about doing this publicly in a state where it is legal to carry a .45 on your hip... Think it is sage advice - though not many from the Bronx would do it without benefit of a 'back-up.' Like this! Good luck. AT=/

Excellent pieces of advice. I agree, nobody should have the right to demean or humiliate anyone in public, they are actually showing their inferiority by doing so. Good lessons to teach each other and our children. Good luck in the contest. I am not on much nowadays, I try to review a little, but only post once every two weeks. Hope all is well with you. Faye

Yes, Good advice Mikey. No one should ever be abused in any way, be it physical, verbal or otherwise. I have been know to intervene when I witness abuse and got the worse for it.Good entry. Good luck. Nancy
