You meet the contest requirements nicely with this well penned piece. This is a delightful read even if a "C"atastrophe for the unwitting canine. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Thank you Buck for the awesome review and generous stars, this is my first attempt at such writing and I have to admit it was fun. God bless!

Needless to say, great alliteration in celebration of cat antics. I really like your use of catawampus. Just not sure about caddy cornered. I know it does not carry the same sense, but what about kitty-cornered?

Thank you raven once more for the awesome review and stars, I could not use Kitty but I did change it so Catty cornered. Hopefully that will work it actually sounds better. Thank you again and God Bless! Oh man! I could have used catapulted, what do you think?

That would be catastrophic.

What a fine caterwaul caper...casual canine cat-napping cat
I love the alliteration and the title catawampus
Is it caddy cornered or catty cornered?
God bless

Thank you Jenny for the awesome review and stars, I think I might just have to edit caddy to catty cornered, I like that better! God bless!

This is a delightful Alliteration Celebration poem for the contest. You have chosen the perfect picture. I never think of a cat as clumsy - on the contrary they are extremely nimble, but with the restriction of alliteration in every word you have made a terrific attempt at this. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

Thank you Dorothy for the awesome review and stars, I once had a cat who was not so nimble his name was Max, other than that I have never seen a clumsy cat either. God Bless!

It took a moment to realise what you were achieving here. I then saw the challenge and realised that you'd just written a sweet and interesting free verse about a cat using only the letter 'c' for starters. Fun poem full of mischief and action. Well done. Good luck.

Cat befriending a dog is quite a rare happening in the life of domesticated pets. It catches attention and subject of interest to readers. The accompanying photo is a rare shot of rare company that creates a family feel. The whole scenario reflects a sense of belonging which this poem speaks of. As per contest rule and requirements - this poem meets the requirement- alliteration in letter 'c'. Good read and enjoyable. Excellent. Thanks for sharing.} Lin
