Your syllable count is right, and the description accurate. We had our first rain in about six weeks last night. It was good to hear the reverberating drums.

Your eleven words certainly convey the voice of thunder.
Must be the acid test that determines the poet in you. I think most, who love to write, welcome a good summertime
storm to relax and refresh, to wash away the cobwebs.

I like the analogy of "bombing drums" to thunder! And you are right, "thunder speaks". We all listen when we hear thunder. Your picture is nice.
