I'm so glad you decided to share your meeting with your lovely wife. What a wonderful way you were prepared for this relationship with her by going with your mother to the home for disabled people.
Your relationship with your wife grew with each day and activity together. I'm glad she accepted your suggestion to go steady.
Look forward to reading more.
Take care,
Rhonda

Thanks Sis, as you know by now it has been 30 years of wonderful marriage together. I am still amazed how I got that job at the Hospital and all the future that came from that.

Hey Geoff,
This was a delightful story my friend and it looks like you two proved Louise's mother wrong in trying to keep you apart! I give Louise a lot of credit forgiving you for the first date "doze-off"
This sentence needs shifting, as written it says you didn't know you were young.
... His design, when I was still very young - unbeknownst to me.
SHOULD BE ;
... His design, unbeknownst to me, when I was still very young.
Great job,
Ron

Thanks Bro Ron will fix, sorry the rewards had run out. Appreciate you coming by. Jax Franklin recently informed me just as I was going to write a poem extolling Grammarly greatness that Gr is OFF on Commas! Most annoying as I had JUST completed an entire edit with Grammarly of this Autobiography! Have to go right through again ignoring Grammarly comma directions! Sigh! Does this mean Watson manor/Investigations 4 or 5??? is in the offing?

Thanks mate have made that alteration,if you care to look again. Much appreciated. I told my dear friend about your idea for the "Forewords." heeh.

I love your story and you have told it well both the good parts and the inconsistencies. What a beautiful lady you married. Your punctuation is impeccable and your story so heart warming. There are a few sentences I would have reworded but in going over them again, I see that is the way you speak and doing that would not improve your story at all. Great job.

Ron Craig made a suggestion for change I have done that. Regarding God knowing from a very young age whom He had chosen for me.

Hi, Goeff
= Great chapter. I enjoyed learning how you and Louise met, and your courtship.
= Found a bunch of SPAG for you.
= Grammarly is good for many things, but commas is one it fails miserably in.
<> Lowercase with used in the possessive form: Mother/mother
= My ]M](m)other used to visit people at the
<> Delete commas
= At that later time, what the pastor said[,] years before went along with some thoughts I had[,] in visiting these folks at 'Weemala,' at Royal Ryde Homes, so long before.
= The extra benefit in all this[,] was[,] that she was[,] then, and still is, after almost 30 years of marriage, a good looker!
= So many wonderful times we spent[,] in the beginning,
= Even though Louise still claims I was pushy[,] in the beginning,
= I took her out to an Italian Restaurant[,] not too far away from where we worked[,] that fateful Friday night.
<> Incorrect commas
--- With some exceptions, for the most part: no comma before =that=
--- When using =which= in place of =that= use COMMA before (,which)
--- Most sentences can stand on their own =without using THAT=
--- Too many has an echoing affect to the reader.
= I had asked quite a few friends around the place to pray[,] that night[,] that God's will would be done(,) and Louise would agree, if it was His will.
<> Delete commas

=The following Monday[,] I get a call
<> Incorrect case after dialogue tag: ok/ Ok

After falling off the chair in shock, I replied in a half disgruntled tone, "ok, see you, at the Cafeteria at 12:30pm." We met outside the cafeteria and went to our table. I looked at her, all lit up like a Christmas tree, and said:
"What's the matter with you?" She replied with a giggle and big grin...
"I changed my mind!"

Damn now you tell me about Grammarly and commas. I just did a full edit through the whole book with Grammarly and added a heap of commas! Grrr! I appreciate your hard work I am glad you got to look at this again I think because the chapters changed or were new, either way, was how you got to Spag me again hehe. Thanks again. I was gonna write a nice poem about Grammarly maybe not now boo hoo!

Grammarly is good for catching many things, but not perfect by any stretch. It does HELP you to catch a lot of grammatical errors, like clauses, infinitives, participles, modifiers, etc.
I think it is geared for non fiction--no dialogue, more so. I learned a lot things from it, but you kind of have to study along with it. (*<*)

Ron Craig made a suggestion of a change about God knowing even when I was very young how I would come to meet Louise. I have applied that very early in the chapter.

wow I may be a late follower but what a piece to come in on.
God works for me in mysterious ways. He knows me and He knew this part of your life I needed to read.
What love and peace you have

Thanks, Barb. I appreciate you coming in so far forward in the book. I promise a full book promotion is just around the corner. As always better to start at the beginning. Thanks for the blessing and that it blessed you. Please pray I go into hospital next Monday for removal of a skin cancer on my head I posted about it around here some place. The staff at the hospital were all wonderful at the Pre-Admission Clinic yesterday. Pray for Louise she is worried about me. I believe the Lord will bring me through ok just not looking forward to Radiotherapy if the Cancer is malignant!

I enjoyed reading your story, it warms my heart. I like how you trusted God and put your relationship with Louise in His hands. Everything worked out and you have been married a long time now. Excellent flow of story.

Thanks again. I do plan on a full book review real soon. This was coming at the end of a lot of work, if I leave it any longer I might need to revise and re-edit even more, hehe. Thanks again. Friend God is the best match-maker as I think I also said. I am glad I waited for HIS CHOICE for me!

A great love story, it is not every day that two people meet and soon know they are meant to be together, and still are together years later with the same feeling of love towards each other.

I went our pastor as a young single lady wanting to start a Christian singles group in my hometown. He introduced me to my husband. Yep, God's hand at work. I enjoyed reading your post. Thank you for sharing.

Awww! What a sweet picture of you and your Sweetie! And, a delightful telling of how things progressed to the point of 'going steady'. It's kind of a shame that isn't something most young people practice today...
