At least, dear writer, he doesn't have to use the old cloth diaper with the real pins.

Good poem. I'm glad you told me diaper is three syllables. I thought he was changing a two syllable variety.

What a great mix of humor and sadness. The humor is obvious. The sadness is the mere fact that the new dad has a hangover. But such a task in such a state would be humorous to watch, as long as the baby didn't get stuck or otherwise hurt. Very nice characterization!!! Good luck to you in the contest,

This is a very humorous senryu! What amuses me the most is the look on the baby's face! Excellent choice of photo! High anxiety - not often found at the diaper change table, but oh yes, in this case...excellent.
