I guess this is like shabby chic, huh? LOL
what wonderful descriptive detail and what great humor
sangfroid, the perfect word choice - so elevated in contrast to the usual thought of the chameleon as clownlike

Sangfroid? (Dictionary.com) cold blooded. This poem is unique and funny . I like the way it allows us to appreciate the good-looking iguana's lizard lay physique.

I love the catchy title and image displayed. The inter-connecting lines are witty, and think the satori was a good ending to this lovely haiku. All the best in the contest.

Majestic Indeed! That reptile is definitely king of his dock.

I like the way sangfroid plays off majestic, while chic and sleek give him a real cosmopolitan sophistication.

Good haiku.

Sangfroid! Such an apt description for this cold-blooded reptile! The one in your picture looks so marvellously self-assured and rather haughty too! As you say, rather majestic.
