Awesome story poetry. I love my bible so it also had that significance for me. But it was truly delightful to read as well. I think it has great quality of flow and rhythm while keeping the story lively and solid. Thanks for writing it.

I really enjoyed the playfulness yet underlying sobriety to this piece. I liked how you explored the dynamic between Zee and Tee in your poetry. Congratulations on adding such a great work of art to your portfolio.

Wonderful job sharing a story in a poem. I like the way that it flows. I like the rhyme scheme in your poem. It made me smile as well. Best of luck.

And how that name just rolls off the tongue. What a delightful tale so colorful with a moral. Aesop Brooke! Well done and delightfully told. A truly enjoyable
read. Smiles, Robin :)

What a tale it is! Thank you for sharing. I wonder if those kids know how lucky they are to have you as their story teller!

Fun to read, sad to contemplate. Two sides believing in their own rightness. Each side refusing to budge/compromise. Final score : Progress zero; Entrenchment 1.
Fun as it was, on the Child's poem front - it definitely brought conflict in the middle east to mind :-(
But then. . .maybe that was your subtle undertone intention!

A truly enjoyable read.
Loved the idea of a Bible story for your children's book.
Solid abcb rhymes
Alliteration used right through the piece
As usual a perfectly paired picture

Zerubbabel !! That is a cool name. Seems like his and Tee's inability to come to a decision sank the boat. That's a funny tale to accompany a cute photograph.

To bad Horace Greeley postdated Tobias by a century or two. Otherwise he would have an expert on his side to quote.
I alway wondered why those born in the west still used the transplanted easterners expression, back east, instead of the more correct expression, out east.

Oh, how my church's Vacation Bible School would love to have you as guest storyteller!
Your poetry is always as clear as it needs to be, without any unnecessary confusion, and with scads of humor when appropriate -- and this was one of those times.
Thank you for making my day a bit brighter, Pearl.
