Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this. Yes, one day reality hit me and inspired some new thoughts that I carry with me now always! Thank you again, so much!

Yes, I agree with you, we have so many blessings compared to others less fortunate, but we still complain. Your rhymes worked well and you made good use of language to convey your strong message. Enjoyable read. Faye

A poem of gratefulness. When you begin to count your blessings and hold your head high, you quickly realize that life could always be worse. Volunteering at homeless shelters and orphanages will always drive that point home in a hurry, cheers, we are blessed Judester. In Africa, every day I realize the advantage I have had with good schooling and medicare in Canada growing up. The one eyed man in the village of the blind, is King

Thank you for this added enlightment to being grateful. You are just so right Surely, I am thankful that I have overcome a very messy, self-pitying thinking syndrome where I have learned to transform all of my negative and sad childhood experiences into a positive, thankful and forgiving new life. Again, thank you.

a beautiful poem of great positive messages written in rhyming couplets.
I totally agree with the sentiments of this write, We need to look around at the less fortunate, and be very grateful for our lives, nobody escapes hard times. but "attitude is more important than the fact"
Well written,
Mary
.And she'd that tear for those less fortunate than you.
(shed) I do not think the hyphen should be there.
