I enjoyed this short story and the creative approach you use. The character starts out with a serious concern of how others will 'view' him and then you bring light humor into it ... "Billy, you know you've got your fake eyeball in backwards?" .
I love the response ... "Yes, I'm being a little introspective." You do a great job carrying the theme throughout and that it is humorous but in a tasteful way. Excellent work ... Best wishes in the contest! :)
