Personal prisons are debilitating to our entire self. Your poem in free verse, describes the frustration of re-gathering self. The muse is often the most important as with it, we create and by creating we restore ourselves.

You are very resilient and your muse has stayed with you throughout so no need to fear. You will be well soon.
Interesting artwork

It's great to know your surgery went well and you are back from the hospital. Take it easy in your recovery, your muse will come back. Best.

I knew immediately when I saw the title what this poem would describe--I've been waiting for you to tell us about your release! I admired your "prison" metaphor and know your muse will return soon. Yes, do "take it one day at a time". Hugs and calm Sunday- Joan

I'm Happy to see you are home again Ine. I pray for your speedy recovery and continued good health in the future.
Are you subject to tube feeding now for a while? Take it slow. You are weak. Love Nancy

Ine, I found your poem very interesting, resourceful and creative in your poem shows your ingenuity, skill and astuteness. However the ending could use a little work because it reads awkwardly. A suggestion: "Muse flying over the sea out of reach for you to see please come home to me".
Thank you for sharing and posting your work for everyone and may you always find love.

You've been through such a lot lately, Ine. I'm not surprised if you're a bit out of touch with things. I'm sure it will take some time for everything to settle down.
Stay strong.
Hugs,

Being away from home is strange. I remember way back in my twenties I was in for six weeks. The nurse told me you're going to miss all the attention you get from here. She was right. Your poem speaks from the heart. Hope your muse will hear it. :) Les
