A beautiful and colorful picture enhances this poem that describes the exhilarating time of Autumn, with the changing colors, climate and way of life. Great poem.

I had a little bit of trouble really focusing on the poem because of the green color being so bold and over the top when paired with the font color it is hard to read. The font color is overpowered and doesn't contrast enough. It seems to be much harder to get those colors right for some of us, including me, I have to do them over and over before I get it just satisfactory. I can't invasion colors and styles as well as some can. Once removed from the color problem I really did find your poem to be most wonderful and very well written. Good luck.

Sorry that you have such a problem with the colors. None of my other readers are experiencing this with the pictures and type print colors. Thanks for reading. livleylinda

Maybe it is my eyes. I have been struggling with the color on here. Thanks for the heads up. I'll take that into consideration as I read. It's good to know.

As a native born Floridian, I appreciate the scene presented here haha. Your imagery was very good and captured the phenomenon well.

Can definitely tell there are certain things you miss about living in a temperate climate. Your transition from the tropics to visions of fall s incredible smooth, a seamless journey from the tropics to your interior world of autumn. I hate winter too but could not live without seasonal changes.

We have season in Florida but there are only two and they are really subtle. We have about six months of winter which is lacking the suffocating humidity and can get down to freezing. Then, the next day, its 90 degrees and the humidity is back! Other than that, it is rather green around here and you don't have to buy many pairs of socks, ever. lol livelylinda

You paint a bright and amazing picture of nature with this poem. The imagery is refreshing to think about. This tropical scene of sights and smells was a delight to read about. Thank you for an uplifting poem.

This is a nice poem, written in the free verse style with rhythm and some rhyming throughout the poem, about the different colors found in different parts of the country.

You capture the beauty of Autumn in your words. Florida is beautiful with the palm trees and warm weather. It is true, winters can be too cold.

nice comparisons for the south and the northern weather told in their greenery. Good imagery for the autumn colors. Made me envious for the southern spring weather and greenery.
good job

It's weird when it is 40 degrees down here and then we have a couple of freezing nights. We lose a few plants but everything mostly stays green. . .Linda

Now that's a cold northern wind!!!
I'm feeling it almost year 'round now, even during the summer the evenings you can feel the northern chill in it.
I live only 10 mins. from, the Border of US/CANADA so I'm as far south in Canada as I can get. Would love to live in mexican weather.
