Good use of smooth rhyming and near-rhymes. Great imagery and encouraging cheerful tone announcing fall. Very nice descriptions of family togetherness. Lovely poem:)

Debbie, I enjoyed your September poem. It flowed with information like a well packed calendar. Falling leaves move into football games, homecoming, pumpkins and Halloween, then soon Holiday cheer. Good job, Carolyn

I like the majority of the flow of this poem, however the first two stanzas last lines seems to break the flow. I love the rhyming pattern and the way you paint a picture with your words.

It's a wonderful atmospheric poem detailing the 'close down 'of summer and the arrival of Fall and ultimately Winter with chillier, darker days.

This is my absolute favorite fan art artwork
solid rhyming couplets
good detail of the changes September brings
good alliteration in phrases like snow to scoop and squirrels storing
a delightfully upbeat celebration of September and all we associate with it :-) Brooke

Thank you very much Debbie for sharing this with myself, fans and other readers. Your Poem is exquisite and a picture complements your poem very much. You rhyming couplet are done nearly to perfection. There's one
perhaps you can work on; "Adults have some autumn chores too", this line seems a little flat. And the rhyme just seems a little labored. Your Poem was enjoyable to read. You have a good one in God bless.
AK
PS; I grew up in upstate New York and I remember growing up in the fall with all the colors and Halloween pumpkins.

September is a really a very pretty month and is a little cooler which is often a welcome. We're still having 95 degree days even though it's September. This is well-written and your words paint many pictures in your readers minds, pretty or sweet pictures. God loves you and we do too.

Thank you so very much, my friend. Your reviews always leave me feeling good. Three years ago. I didn't have a clue about how to write a poem. It has been a very fun journey learning what little I know~DEbbie

This is a very positive uplifting poem. In reading it one cannot help but smile, even though the part regarding the weather doesn't hold true for where I live.
Today, it is suppose to hit 88 degrees here.
Thanks for sharing this. JW

It was 101 here 2 days ago. In a couple of weeks it could snow. In Iowa, one just never knows. Take care, my friend~DEbbie
