These are the gems of this poem 'a bow to the power of a love unknown
a tip of the festive hat,
a feat of nature shown
to an audience of bones
a cyclone seeking wind
when nothing is within that roams' I found those lines very powerful and quite sad. And I love the last line which ties up the poem perfectly.

That is what I love about poetry. 5 people can read a poem and interpret it differently, even from what the writer intended. Thanks for sharing this well written poem.

exactly. well put. one of the reasons I don't like to do to much in the way of explanation. of course, the other reason is that I don't usually have one! ha! thank you for the fine review. mike

Another excellent free verse poem, Michael! I like the title, the cyclone. It seems to be referring to the force of love and its loss or lack. A very powerful poem with terrific imagery - I really like your free verse with minimal punctuation and a good flow to it. Your author notes are certainly something to ponder on too! Best wishes, Pete :)

Have you recently joined the site too? It's great and people are very encouraging. Your poetry is great, as was your 3-part story about the shelter. We should keep encouraging each other my friend. Great to have virtually met you! Pete
