I like this poem about Gaia. She is such an ancient goddess, I thought she had gone into retirement by now. This is an excellent septolet, worth seven ole's.
Cheers,
DW
Good luck with the voters.

Good discipline in keeping to the seven lines, four images became two The horizon, although I feel you were trying to describe something surreal or ethereal. Cannot really see or feel the fertile womb. The first stanza left me on a well defined horizon of sea and sky.Yes, I know terra means earth, but Gaia, Cosmic Mother, lives in my mind like a more sterile image.Abstract, like the artwork you"ve chosen. When
I think of fertile wombs what comes to my mind, as relates t
o Gaia is a fetus or a volcano.I guess I know now what a septolet is. Some of the aphorisms I write would qualify.

I liked this poem and its very positive poetic thoughts. I know the word, Gaia. This is the first time I have seen it used in a poem. This was a very enjoyable piece of poetic art... John

The septolet is nicely accomplished. Beyond that, the poem goes on to suggest that humanity is born of spirit and clay mixed - an age-old idea, given new life here.
