A very lovely and loving free verse. So much wise truth folded into the lines.A grateful heart is a treasure in it's own fashion. Ungratefulness feeds bitterness and dissatisfaction. Your words are so well thought out and placed,they just flow effortlessly. Very well written.

Couple of spag nits to note-
*
beyond prosperity,(Maybe a period here or at least a semi colon would be preferable to a comma as it is already a very long sentence--but if you keep , or ; the 'h' in Having in next line needs to be lower case)
Love this part-
Having gratitude for life -
no matter what the cost or pain,
to realize peace reigns
in hearts that choose to forgive,
It might be good to give a line break before it so it highlights those four lines--just a thought to consider.

Love the content and tone here--well phrased, too:
who teach the next generation
the importance of loving sacrificially,
shedding light to diminish darkness
in a world where hatred is popular
and death can mean victory or defeat.

*The periods seem odd here, because the sentences continue:
I value my elderly freinds.
Whose spirits encase wisdom in golden vessels.
Souls will soon disperse,

in each precious child who has yet

You have great flow and mechanics such as narrative and descriptive writing in you poem. In your poem you have excellent rhymes and rhythm. You've effective use alliteration and metaphor in your free verse poem. The art work is gorgeous you used.
