Well, Billy certainly is a little puke, isn't he?
Liked the paragraph about walking down the street with everyone going about their normal day, while James and Charlie's world is destroyed. We've all had moments like that.

OMG! James is having to deal with so much; really too much for someone of his age. I honestly don't know how his family would keep it together as well as they have without him. He is a rare human being and I only wish I had someone like him as a friend.
Sasha, you've written another excellent chapter that pulls your readers into the story, allowing to feel some of the ugliness soaking into this family.

Thanks. I am so pleased you continue to like this story despite its dark nature.

You are such a brilliant writer. You are able to expose the darkness for what it really is--fear of the unknown.

I like the way you added scenes and sights of Seattle. It adds a human flavor to the story.

"The 'and' is gone forever isn't it?" (comma after forever)

"Keep it together Charlie. (comma befor Charlie)

Super chapter! I didn't see that coming, I thought someone would start something while they were out. Hey I may have missed this, but what is the time frame? Is it present time? I think the paper should be 50 cents or 75 cents because it hasn't been a quarter for ahwile. Now I'm micro reviewing aren't I? I can't help it if it's so good that I have to dig around to find something. LOL! I like how you talked about being mad at everyone around them being so happy don't they know what's going on. I remember feeling that way so many times. Great job Val, XO Vicki

I haven't been back to the States since 2006 so you could very well be right....I'll have to google the price of a newspaper in Seattle for 2009. Thanks for the great review, I always look forward to and appreciate your comments.

You have brought to light so much that we don't think about when one of these criminals is caught. The family suffers greatly as your posts reveal. This is a really insightful novel into the minds of people faced with a horrific situation. Great job. Waiting for your next post. I think this might be one of the best I have read all year. Even including books not on FS and I read lots of books. great job.

Hi Smurphy
Another great easy flowing read.
You have certainly created a villain with that Billy. What a piece of work! I felt like hissing.
It's astonishing, and so true, how people can be so cruel to others in trouble.
Another little gem.

This chapter is attention grabbing! Jumping in here, in the middle catches my attention enough to want to read your book from beginning to end.I like the clean choice of words. I don't have to think to hard to see and picture what is going on. Very enjoyable!

It amazes me how cruel people will treat others who are having a bad time. That slime Billy should be sued. Excellent chapter.
