Way too many characters in only 100 words. I'm totally confused and I read it twice. I started writing them down to figure it out and then said, "No way, am I going to do that." Good luck with the contest.

Thanks for the review

Wow, thank God that someone drowned. It would have been terrible to have to figure that all without the coincidence. Good luck in the contest.

I can't help but feel that there is just a touch of sarcasm in review.
Thanks for reading and the good wishes

Did you used to watch Perry Mason when he explained how it all happened to his secretary in the end? It's also like how Monk now explains it all with his trademark - this is the way it happened line. This is quite clever - you tell the whole damned complicated story of what has obviously taken place over a great deal of time in just 100 words by having the detective sum it all up. Of course, now that you put it that way, it's obvious. LOL I dare you to write the whole story now that goes with this. :-) What a clever entry in the 100 word story contest. Brooke

You're very kind. I'm afraid my entries are usually too clever by half, though
