I hope the rabbit runs faster as your dog would be a threat to the rabbit. I enjoyed your picture and your lovely poem Cecilia, I am glad you are trying different forms, love Dolly x x x

    Dolly,

Thank for the wonderful review. The rabbits have the advantage, because by the time Kratos sees them and starts running they move like lightning. They squeeze through the fence somehow and get away. I hope he never catches one.

The hunting instinct is very strong, even our little Moodle likes to pretend he doesn't want to share his toy but offers it and growls viciously while keeping it from, like little girls playing with dolls, well done Cecilia, blessings Roy

My dog, Harley, he's a dachshund, loved chasing squirrels and they love to tease him, so I do understand. I often wonder 'WHY?', but he gets a thrill from it. I enjoyed reading this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    Barbara,

Thank you for the wonderful review. Animals are so funny to watch. Angel when she was a puppy would see a rabbit and run off after it. Now it's Kratos job to try and catch them.

He never wins because they always have a head start on him.

I must say I never knew dogs chase rabbits. The yard has to big enough for the run to the fence. Poetry has a good way of introducing us the family. The son, dog and the distance rabbits all have a challenge.

    Darlene,

Thank you for the wonderful review. I have several poem where I have used Kratos. He's a fun dog and is a 100 lbs of pure muscle. My fence is sturdy and we have a big yard for him to run in.

Lovely momentum in this sweet verse, Cecilia! I could sense Kratos getting closer and closer (although I still hope the rabbit might have dived down a hole in time:)) Do please check your syllables though. Had this been for a contest, I would need to lower the rating, sadly. The second and fifth line need attention - currently you go 9/9/7/6/4/4/3/2/1 Warm wishes Debbie

Wonderful poem and photo, flying and showing off some muscles. I think you can understand, many of my patients were much more powerful than I was, I think at least my brain protected me and others.

    Rick,

Thank you for the wonderful review. I'm sure you had a lot of stronger patients. Kratos is a 100 lbs of pure muscle. Wouldn't want him chasing me if he wasn't my dog.

What a beautiful dog and you can tell he is having the time of his life doing what he was born to do. Nicely written poem telling of his daily adventures. Thanks for sharing.

    Marilyn,

Thank you for the great review. That dog isn't mine, but ours is just as powerful. 100 lbs of pure muscle. Pit Bulls are the best dogs if raised right.

He gets his exercise, though...but I must admit I am happy the bunnies get away. But I bet he gets their heats pumping during the chase.

    Carol,

Thank you for the wonderful review. Yes, those rabbits are probably having a heart attack while he's chasing them. It's good exercise for him though.

I do love your dog. At first when I saw your profile picture I thought it was his tail in his mouth as it is the same color as he is. Haha, but they don't have that long of tails so I knew then it was a stick or something.

Love your poem how sweetly it tells about how he love to chase the rabbit and how far he goes. What a fun pup he must be. I love dogs even more than cats. We have always had dogs but it hurts too bad to lose them.

Anyway great job on the poem. I love it. Love, Debi

    Debi,

Thank you for the wonderful review. It does hurt when we lose them and after Angel passed I don't want anymore. It was too much of a gut punch.

Kratos is a great dog. He loves to run and the one thing I can say is, if he wasn't my dog I'd be afraid. That's a 100 lbs of pure muscle chasing you.
