Sorry, I missed your note before about there being no high tech cameras at the time. This investigation is certainly coming up with some excellent clues about the victims and the perpetrator. Horrific as it is, it's still fascinating piecing the evidence together. You do a great job here, Pam, conveying this story. Well done! Debbie

I believe this is the first one I have read that reads like a prose poem. It is well written.
For a while I was wondering where the shoe saga from Chen :
...distinctive pattern made by Chen.
would come into play.
It did some lines later:
...for shoes by Chen on showroom floors.

I noticed that you are using a much larger font with double space between lines. You did it in the last one I reviewed, too. Any reason?

I actually lived in an area that there was a serial killer. He liked small children an I was 10 at the time. However, being young I knew nothing about him. I'm sure God had his hand on me and protected me from him.

This poem slows the slow but steady progress of the detectives who are painstakingly hunting down all of these shoe leads before there was such a thing as surveillance cameras on every corner.
