Things like that used to happen all the time. Once my buddy and I went to New York and joked about running into the Mayor (Abe Beam). We walked right into a parade which the Mayor was heading. Be careful in your speech!

Thanks Jim. I guess it is true but I sure understand how it works but I have things like that happen a lot. Roy says our words have power. I guess we need to think before we speak.

Thank you, Barbara. I think I'm a good driver. He was nicer than most cops, but he didn't think to highly of my driving.

Hopefully, he was spreading some Christmas spirit with the warning ticket. He was just doing his job, but there are times that they carry it a bit too far. Next time wrap the seat belt around those groceries... but you know...after all these years, if I have to slam on the brakes for something, my right arm flings out across the seat.... You should hear my kids if they are sitting there. (No, actually you shouldn't).

Well he didn't help my Christmas spirit but acting as if I was too old to drive. I still fling my arms our for people as well as groceries.

Well, as we age, we aren't as adept at somethings as we once were. Although, we don't believe it, and darn sure aren't willing to admit it. Hearing, seeing, reacting, and sometimes, even thinking are a chore. Just last week I got out of the car, left it running, and walked toward the house. Luckily the alarm went off before I got too far. We still get things done well most of the time, but sitting the bags in the seat gave you something else to think about besides driving. A no no. LOL. Thanks for sharing your fun little story!

Well, I guess I'm not adept to grabbing things falling off the seat but then I probably never have been. My car beeps if I go on the line and it wasn't beeping, so I didn't wobble that much. lol

It upset me at the time but then I saw the humor in the situation. I've been told many times, I'm a good driver but I sure he wouldn't testify to that. lol

Last two times I got pulled over it was a warning tickets. There's a stretch of road where they sit and one day my luck is going to run out.
