Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

it's getting even better and I didn't think that was possible but now I don't want to read the next chapter because I'm getting caught up and there won't be anymore there to read

It is a shame that Maxwell saw the helicopter and told Rossi about it. Now Rossi plans to take Donatelli away from DeVito. Eleanor had her fun starting a bar fight, but that is the only amusing thing about the evening.

Sometimes, no matter how hard we try to turn down the volume, something just keeps cranking it up until it's blaring and our heads are about to explode. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Oh boy, did it ever get more complicated! I hope that Frank's place is really as secured as he think he is. And how do you always manage to create those secret hideaway tunnels? I wonder what they will do for transportation when they get to the other side. Too bad Eleanor didn't sneak into that conference room to see the secret passage beforehand. That would be even spookier to have a ghost in the tunnel!

I think Eleanor wishes she had done a lot of things differently. I guess hindsight works about the same way for ghosts as it does for humans. LOL Things are heating up, that's for sure.

He can't blame Eleanor, she tried to tell him but he was in a hurry and brushed her off. Now he has more problems on his hands, more than he realised. Your doing good, Carol. Eleanor is doing her bit shaking up the bar, not Garth has to do his bit. My word, Carol, this was really exciting! Can't wait for the next part. Love you lots my friend. Sandra xxx

Thanks, Sandra. I've finished the next chapter, but I've decided to wait till tomorrow because I think (or hope) it deserves a six.... Might be wishful thinking but it's a good one. Thanks as always for rooting me on. Love you, Carol

My Dear Carol,
I don't know how you do it. This is another action packed chapter. You have the imagination of two or three writers put together to devise all these twists, turns, action, and dialogue. Each of your novels is more phenomenal than the last. Plus, you write fast. I hope you're finding time to enjoy your vacation.

Minor edit:

"To know so much dirt on Doyle, you must be pretty tight with him. Is that how you got appointed Special Prosecutor? Doyle pulling strings from behind bars?"
repeated a second time

"You must be pretty tight with Doyle to know so much dirt on him. Is that how you got appointed Special Prosecutor? Doyle pulling strings from behind bars?"

At this very moment, I don't know how I do it either. My eyes are crossed and blurry from answering all these great reviews. Tomorrow is the last post...Amen! I hope everyone enjoys it.

Things are a lot more complicated. I'm hoping Eleanor knows about that secret door, they escaped through.

In his eagerness to escape Rossi, he'd forgotten his habit of checking inside the car before getting in. (this is William???)

"To know so much dirt on Doyle, you must be pretty tight with him. Is that how you got appointed Special Prosecutor? Doyle pulling strings from behind bars?" & You must be pretty tight with Doyle to know so much dirt on him. Is that how you got appointed Special Prosecutor? Doyle pulling strings from behind bars?" Rossi's gaze bore into Maxwell, making him squirm. "I'll let you in on a little secret, Owen. You now work for me, not Doyle. And have no doubts about which of us holds the Royal Flush." (REPEATED parts of this.)

"I see why Doyle hung on to these babies." Rossi let out a low whistle while examining the paintings. "CJ Grey" names familiar for some reason." (Rossi, again? I think you switched names.)

Thanks, Barbara. I went back and tried to make it a little clearer who was speaking each time. Appreciate the suggestions.

A fun read, glad I am not on their radar. Sounds like many will get hurt soon. The next events will happen soon. Can't wait. The list of characters is a little hard to keep straight, need a cheat sheet. Probably due to my age.

Carol,

What another awesome chapter you've written. Things are starting to heat up quite nicely. The plot thickens. I'm excited about where you are going with this.

Great job my friend

Cecilia
