Just beautiful, Cecilia! I miss them as my eyesight doesn't catch moving objects anymore. The hummingbird is vivid in my memory though. They seem to fly suspended in the air. They are amazing little birds. How blessed you are to have a glittering in your view! Thank you for sharing. A real treat!

Thank you for the kind review. Yes the glittering was a once in a lifetime event. I only had about 10 birds this fall.

Thank you for the great review. Yes, those little birds are amazing. All summer long I have 3 or 4, it's when they start migrating south in the fall that I can have 10 or 15 at a time. I sure do go through a lot of sugar water. The glittering was a once in a lifetime viewing. That was the fall of 2023.

Thank you for the review. I love free form, because of the fact I trouble rhyming. I have a poem i've been working on for a month now trying to make it rhyme.

Here is what I do. When I must rhyme, I pick my first sentence.
John gave me a beautiful flower
Then I list all the words that sound like flower I came up with 29. I have huge vocabulary.
But when I get stuck, I go to the internet and type in sounds like flower. They will give you a list. Don't know a word? type in Flower, definition. Hope that helps. Karen

Lots of people have helped me here. I learn new things all the time. I learned how to ask for help. It was a hard thing for me. But, it opened up my world.
You can ask questions of anyone. Most will help you right away. But you will come across the occasional snotball. I have been here a year and a half and this place has saved my life, Ask me anything, well, okay don't ask my weight, that is nosey. And, if I don't know the answer I probably know who will. Keep writing. Karen

Thank you for the kind review. I think that the 100 hummingbirds was a once in a lifetime thing. It was beautiful. Yes, they are territorial and even with plenty of feeders they fight over them.

Thank you for the kind review. It was a once in a lifetime thing. That happened 2 Falls ago. It was a trip seeing that at the feeder. This year I only had about 15 or so. It was a great experience indeed.
