My path was not quite clear when it came to writing a review for this so therefore I threw a dart at the map and it's stuck in a place that said 4 1/2 to 5 so I'm rather torn as to whether I'm gonna give you a four or if I'm gonna give you a five. I finally decided you will get a five. Patricia.

I love that idea! This is such a cool senyu (as my granddaughter would say!) and is a good idea to follow. Perhaps not throwing darts at maps, but by changing directions can be worth while. Very well done, Pam. I very much enjoyed it. :)) Sandra xx

Hi Pam,
This is one way to find a new path. Do you just move to where the dart lands? Or is that the next vacation spot to ponder what comes next?
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a good day.

I like your words, especially throwing darts at the map. It is a humorous ending but a possible option when one is at a loss for direction. Excellent senryu form with a theme that everyone can relate to.

This senryu, Find the Right Path, has the proper formatting and suggests that when you don't know where to turn next, take a chance on someone you know -- yourself.

Another good one, dear Pam. When nothing is clear, do not relax waiting for a new path to be very clear before doing something. Take a calculated risk and do something. Changes may be made along the way to adjust to the right track. Lovely piece.

All those roads lend to the theme of your poem - which road shall I take? Throwing a dart works as well as any method when it's not clear which road we should take.
A thoughtful, and a little humorous, Senryu.

I am not sure I agree with you on this one. I prefer to write down the pros and cons of a situation to help me decide what to do next. I didn't know that punctuation was frowned upon in a senyru. Must remember that. Great artwork. Take care. Jen

This was meant to be humorous Jen as I stated in my notes. Thank you for the wonderful review.

LOL I like this one. The darts might land somewhere that looks interesting to go to or at the very least throwing them will ease some of the stress you're feeling because your life is crazed. lol Good job.

-Good artwork and presentation, Pam.
-Your notes are appreciated, but I
think you meant "punctuation"
at the end of the sentence.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-Good description about life and how
we sometimes need a different path.
-A very good concluding line.
-Good luck in the contest.
