Well, hello, Ric. Glad you're back. I like both characters here. Tubby, because what asshole wouldn't feel bad for a kid who is cut off from their friends. And Billy, having a patent who is less than a parent. I'm hoping they'll both have some happiness. Bring on chapter 2. Gretchen

Thank you so much, Gretchen, for your extra special six star review and kind words. I just wanted to offer up something a little different than my usual Halloween pieces, wanting to touch another spot. I appreciate your time and encouragement, but most of all, just you being YOU!

Before I gave up drinking, I had many episodes like the urine one, and it was a bit humorous, but perhaps too much time was spent on it. The important thing is : Will Billly get to Tubby, and if so, how will Tubby feel about it? Will he participate? I'll stay tuned.

Thank you so much, Jim, for taking time out to read my foolishness, your kind words, and generous review. I just posted the second and last part. I hope you like where I took it. Much appreciated!

I'm in for the duration. I love the story. Your writing puts me right there (on the ground, trying to catch Billy before his luck runs out.) Only a kid like him would go to all that trouble to pee in the Pabst instead of between the parked cars. I'm ready for more.

Thank you so much, Nicki, for taking time out to read my foolishness, your extra special six-star review, and kind words of encouragement. I've just posted the second and last part. I hope you like where I've taken it and it entertains you a little. I mainly just wanted to write a different kind of Halloween story. I appreciate YOU!

Alright, is this going to be a book, Ric? I'm hooked on the first chapter and look forward to Chapter Two. Great job, my friend.
God bless,
Steve

Thank you so much, Steve, for your extra special six-star review. Nope, not a book, I'm too lazy for that task. LOL. Just a two part story, and I've just posted the second part ending. Hope it can entertain you a little. Much appreciated!

Great story and I can't wait to read more. Both boys need some help with their parents, don't they. I hope by the end help comes. This is a very good write and thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you so much, Barbara, for taking time out of your busy schedule to read my foolishness. I just wanted to do something rather then the typical Halloween story. I hope I've succeeded and it entertains a few. Thanks for the kind words and generous review. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much, Marilyn, for your kind words and generous review. I posted the second and ending chapter a few minutes ago and hope you'll like the second part as much or more than the first. I'm so glad you liked it. Much appreciated!

This is a fantastically compelling beginning of a story. Children are immature and unpredictable, which means anything could happen. As usual, your characters are so well developed, it's easy to identify with, or visualize them. I look forward to Chapter Two.

Thank you so much, Lorraine, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. The stars are nice, but most of all I'm just glad that I can entertain you for a minute, since you always entertain me. I've just posted the second and final chapter. I hope you enjoy it. I appreciate YOU!

Excellent start. I enjoyed it. I can't wait for more. It good to see you posting a new story. You're showing a bit of versatility with different type of story. I got laugh at the drunk drinking out of the Papst bottle. You probably don't think girls have Billy's problem when kept waiting in a car too long, but it reminded me of the time my dad kept me waiting in the car while visited too long with a friend. I was about ten and I tried using a paper coffee cup. I think I had a bigger bladder at ten, than I do now. The results were also disastrous.

Thank you so much, Beth, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I just wanted to put a little different twist on Halloween, but I almost missed it. LOL. I should have asked you to let me use your potty in a cup experience for my story. LOL. Yes, girls and boys a like have stories to tell. I appreciate YOU!

Boy, when you come back, you do it with a vengance. This story has a bit of everything in it. Keep it up. My decrepit computer ate up my writing files and my vast picture files. I got a new computer with updates, a brand new one for a change. but, I have to cut and paste all my stories, and rebuild my picture files. Bummer. Absolutely great writing. Nice to see you back Handsome. Karen

Thank you so much, Karen, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. But most of all, I'm so glad you the first chapter of my story. And I hope you like the second and last part even better, which I just posted earlier. Yes, for your new computer! I'm happy for you and look forward to all the extra writing you'll be doing! I appreciate YOU BUNCHES!

I'm confused. Are Billy and Thomas, who was paralyzed at ten, both kids? Adolescents? How much later was Nilly climbing the tree. And what of Grandpa. I surmise he was driving a hayride of sorts when the occurence took place, and died from the grief sometime thereafter.
Anywhichway, you have drawn me in.

Thank you so much, Tom, for your kind words and generous review. Yes, Tubby is 10, injured when 7, and Billy is 11, when climbing the tree and Trick-or-Treating. Grandpa died in the accident, whether by injuries or a broken heart. We used to do crazy things on tractors when I was a boy. But one day, I got caught up in the wheel and got both my legs broke. LOL. Hope you like chapter two that's already posted.
    I appreciate YOU!
