No lie, Rachelle, I rarely cry when reading. I was wiping tears for two reasons with this. First, it was so touching, the relationship with You and Rebekah. Next is the fact that our "trip" is over. I love how you pulled Begin Again's story into the details of our convention. This was a wonderful way to end this. I honestly don't even need to write an end chapter ( But I will.) LOL. This was perfect and I'm glad I got the pleasure of reading it today. Gretchen

Gretchen, you sweet and wonderful woman, there is NO ONE who could have made this a more perfect experience for me. Anyone would love to work with you, but I'm the luck writer who was given the opportunity, and I have appreciated it the entire time.

Thank you for this perfect final review. I will definitely miss our collaborations. You have stolen my heart with your Southern charm and TALENT. xoxoxo

Oh, Rachelle! That was perfect! The only thing that would have been "more perfect" is if you had sung. I think I speak for everyone involved in your wonderful adventure, we'd love to hear you. Would there be a possibility of your putting a video of you singing here on Fan Story? I can tell you everybody would be thrilled!
If not, this story and especially the ending, is, in itself, a special treat--truly a delightful surprise, a mixture of sad disappointment and a proud, fulfilling tug at the heartstrings.
I have had the feeling all through this story, because your character IS you, that it was real. It would make a great movie!!!
Anyway, thanks for the enlightening and exciting experience, and for the thrill of my version being one of the ones picked and for the wonderful and generous $50 which I will love earning with new ideas.
As"they" say, It was a great ride!
Katharine

I'll tell you what, Katharine: If you want to be Facebook friends, I'll share a Messenger video of me singing. But I would not feel comfortable putting a video on FS. On here, I'm a writer.

I can't tell how how I appreciate your love and support and encouragement from the first chapter to the last, and I was so HAPPY for you that your chapter was among the winners!

Thank you for all you contributed to making this such a fun experience for me. It means the world. xoxox

I understand. I'm not on Facebook, and hate to admit it to you, but I am not very technical. i'll have to see about getting on Facebook, and get back to you if I may because I would love to hear it! I know, pitiful.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and I'll get back to you.

I have to admit, this chapter pulled some emotion out of this old man. What a beautiful, descriptive ending, Rachelle. I enjoyed the journey you and Grethen took me on.
God bless, my friend.

One of the best. This was so much fun to read. You are skilled at poking fun and creating chaotic twists and turns. Not to forget you have a wild imagination. Every character seems true to what I know of them. Great writing! Esther

A great (and sane) conclusion to this wonderful story. I was hoping for an attachment of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' to listen to! LOL. Love that piece. I'm glad you gave Rebekah a great performance piece before she packed in the music career. Blessings. Carol

Yes, I contemplated that but felt most members wouldn't be interested.

I really enjoyed this story, and I'll miss it, It was very entertaining with a lot of wonderful bonding, comedy and sentimental goodbyes. If something like that really happened to a beautiful and talented Amish girl, I wonder if having experience another world in which could easily fit into, if she would not spend the rest of her life second guessing as to whether or not she had made the right decision or not. Choosing either way would have left something important missing.

That's very astute. It's that old adage about "how do you keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen Pari'?"

Thanks for this delightful review. xoxox

Superior writing, of course. This makes me think back to all the wasted sixes passed out like Halloween candy.
"Hey! That's MY line!" - Too bad there's not a generally accepted practice of emphasizing a word in dialogue. I've used single quotes, seen double quotes, and use italics when allowed, and of course all caps. To me, all caps also implies a raised voice (which applies in your usage).
This would be the equal (or better) of my Clyde dilemma of alternate endings - what if Rebekah chose differently? (stardom, met Mr. Right, wrote heart-rending simple tunes, changed the world with songs of peace?)
Best wishes.

"What if's." They can really mess with a person's head, right? I really appreciate all the thought that goes into your reviews. They're never "surface." You always think about the many levels of a story, this one, included, and it makes your reviews more meaningful. Thank you for having sustained the roadtrip with us. Gretchen and I are both very appreciative. xoxox

I loved this closing chapter, Rachelle and it has been really good reading everyone's version of events as well, it's definitely been very entertaining. I loved writing my version as well. An excellent piece.

What a glorious ending for a wonderful journey! I truly enjoyed every moment of it. I'm sure you and Gretchen and all the Fabstorians will have memories to laugh and cry about for a life-time. Well done!

Though you could have left one adjective out! (septuagenarian) It felt like the deer in headlights announcing dementia! LOL Just kidding..age doesn't mean much to mean any more, not as long as I can write.

Have a great day!
Smiles, Carol

I know; I considered dropping that adjective, but if we do put this in print, Carol, the world-wide readers need to have a clear view of the picture. And, hey, you WERE the one who opened that door in the first place. Thanks for being along with Gretchen and me on this wild ride since Chapter One. I appreciated all your support and wonderful reviews. xoxox
