I adore this writer and I was unaware she is a musician. Your birthday poem told me so much about her. She is quite the talented lady and I hope her birthday is special and grand. Hope the blizzard you are in passes.

Hi Debi,
This poem rhymes well and tells Katie's story well. She is so multi-talented. It is interested by named after a Grateful Dead song.
I don't think you need the and third line of the penultimate stanza. It should be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with no 'and'.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes, Joan I know what you are saying, but when you write in meter, you do whatever you have to make the line come through properly. I tried it numerous ways and that was the best that I could find. Do you know what I mean? Thanks for your help tho, normally I would agree but it really would screw everyone up if I left it out would have been two few syllables or put it in another place. Thanks again, Debi

How about You're home Cleveland Ohio has Rock N Roll Hall of of Fame. I know this is the same amount of syllables but maybe not the same meter.
You're welcome for the review.

Hi Debi. This is a very nice poem. That's great you persevered through the power outouage. I hate when that happens. Your poem gave me a good idea about Katie. I like the
Grateful Dead. Wellbwritten. Love, Brenda.

I am familiar with the name and I don't know what other names she's written under. Thank you for sharing about this talented Fanstorian! The songs were completely unfamiliar!

Thanks Helen, you know, half the time I don't even have the chance to listen to the songs. I never pick any of the songs. Except this is funny, but I don't know if you noticed that Debbie had a lot of songs. Well at first she gave me only the performers that she liked so I picked a song from each one. Later when I checked my PMs she had sent me what songs she wanted so I had to add more to hers. lol..Anyway, I have never heard anything from the Grateful Dead as I was a pop and Christian music lover as a teen. It much have been her mom who loved the group. My son was born in 1977 too and Michelle will be 50 in March. Boy, are my kids getting old. LOL..but I am not because I refuse to let it bother me. Thanks for reading her poem.
Love, Debi

I only heard about "Dead heads" so I can't comment. I think you're right that her mom must have been the fan of their music. You know a bunch more than I do!
-
That group was popular when I was a teen but it was considered hard rock and I never listened to that so her mom might have even been my age. Hey, I named my daughter after one of the Monkees. I was in love with Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees at 13, LOL. But when Glen wanted to name her Michelle I said fine as long as her nickname got to be Mickey. But it never stuck and now I am glad it didn't cause now I think of Mickey Mouse, hahaha,

Michelle is a pretty name! Besides, the Beatles had a song for that name! 😊💖

Yeah, I was almost too young to be a mom, but wouldn't give them up for anything. Speaking of kids, I hope Grace is doing ok, and I am still praying for her.
-
Thanks for remembering Grace! She's been on Prozac and it's been helping because she's more in contact. She knows she should get a job and I she does soon as she's been dependent on us for the last eight years. Have a good sleep and let me know how your eyes are doing. 💕🙏

Oh yes, Don, please do. Let me know the date and actually I will contact you when I am ready for it. And I would be happy to as spreading God's love is done by putting a smile on someone else's face. Thanks for all the kind words and the beautiful six stars too. Oh, and send Vicki's birthdate along too. Love, Debi

Thank you so much,, Debi, for this lovely and informative tribute to dear Katie! I'm afraid I've been calling her Katherine so I'm pleased you've sorted that out for me. Another great Scorpion too - my, we're an impressive bunch:) I've been reading Katie's haikus and short verses which are always skilfully done and complete, their beauty being in the fact that there's no opportunity to paraphrase them differently. Happy Birthday, Katie! And thank you again, Debi! Love Debbie

Hi Debbie, I am so excited to have electricity again that I couldn't wait to answer your review. Yes, and you have another Scorpion for tomorrow. Hmmm, do I make you wait to see who it is, or should I ruin the surprise?
I think I will wait. Haha.
So when you talk about paraphrasing the beauty of Katie's short poems, do you mean when I say with a little sass? Cause all I mean by that is that she has some clever little lines that are fun. And only asking so if I am doing it, I will be more careful. I always appreciate good feedback, if that is what you were talking about? Your comments mean the world to me, Deb, and I value them very much. So thanks so very much for all the sweet comments.
Love, Debi

No, no, Debi. I wasn't referring to anything you said. Your verses are always spot-on. It's just that I always try to reword haikus in my reviews just to echo what they're saying. And if I can't say it any differently, I know that they've done a good job. If that makes sense?
-
Hahaha, I just left you a congrats and a note to make sure you are never offended by me asking about something as I truly pay attention and am thankful if you had said it towards me. But thanks for the clarification. Like I said in my note, you are the best reviewer ever. Thanks so much. And you aren't too bad as a good friend either. LOL. Love, Debi
