There is a whole lot of story in these few short words. I guess flash is more of a structure, grid, or outline, hitting the high spots, or the low spots if you're driving a drunken car in the fog. :-) Thanks for sharing.

I love how you manage to get a twist right at the end of these short pieces, Carol. You are an excellent flash fiction writer and I love how much you manage to pack into a few short lines. Another excellent, well written piece. I really enjoyed it.

You told an entire story and used only a few words. I'm impressed. As you know I need a lot of words to tell a story. LOL I had fun reading. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Hi Begin Again,
It's like a world where they know things we usually don't know. Except, my sister-in-law had a vision of her son crashing his yellow Corvette at the same moment he crashed it. She frantically tried to locate him. He was alright, but it shows there is more to understanding how things work in this world than what science has been able to discover.
Revenge! Why did the prisoner want revenge? What gift did he have to know the exact moment when revenge was satisfied.
I like how you leave the reader to figure out motives and capabilities of all those involved.

How to capture a moment in just fifty words. Effortlessly and elegantly done. The emotion is vivid and the whole piece leaves me with so many unanswered questions
Well done.

There always seems to be a way to get revenge on someone when they least expect it. What a wonderfully written story. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Wow, what a gripping opening! Your ability to create tension right from the start is fantastic. I felt the woman's fear as she navigated the fog. The headlights in the mirror really added to the suspense. The ending was great. Keep up the amazing work!
