Great use of a poem, to promote your newly released stories. You certainly have been busy, Tony. Wishing you much success with both publications.

As for this poem, nothing less than I would have expected from you. Well crafted, excellent rhyme and meter, and humorous as well.

Nice job,
Craig

I like this, it's irreverent, it's humorous and it's delightful. What more could any reader want in poetry. I enjoyed this thoroughly. Still not enough. Must be close now.

Congratulations on the launch of your new book and I wish you luck with the sales Tony. It is always very satisfying to release a new book, and you launched it on Fanstory with a clever and well rhymed poem, love Dolly x x x

Good on you Terry. It takes great perseverance to complete works such as novels. In addition, you are battling the normal "life" things. Well done and I may just sneak a peak in the next day or two.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards
Barry Penfold.

Wow! You have been busy! Deserving of a sixth star for that if nothing else!

I remember the Ponyfish well and i will certainly have a look. did you do all your own editing, or did you hire somebody to pass an impartial eye over the draft? I suspect the tightening up is almost certainly beneficial, but cutting by a third seems drastic!

The poem is a clever hook and great advertising value.

Good luck with the hardest part of publishing a book - getting the darn thing to sell.

Wow, this is exciting news. You have been a very busy man. Did you publish them simultaneously? I wish you the very best of luck and hope you have many sales. Gretchen

Thanks for your kind comments, Gretchen. Yes, I've published all of these four titles within the last three months. Probably not the most sensible approach, but in these days of my antiquity I no longer take tomorrow for granted! Best wishes, Tony

Congratulations, Tony. I just bought the Kindle version. I've been thinking of buying a hard copy of one of your other books and wondered if you would sign it for me. Which one do you recommend? Again, congratulations and good luck with the book. Be well, Frank.

How kind of you, Frank. Into the Lion's Den and Panpipes are both romantic thrillers. The first is set in France, England and Pakistan, the second in Thailand and Australia. Brief synopses are on the Amazon page (http://bit.ly/3BRTFm5). Alternatively, if you prefer short stories, A Sri Lankan Tale and other stories may be more to your taste.
Since we live on opposite sides of the world, a signed copy might be difficult to arrange.
I appreciate your congratulations and good luck wishes.
    All the best, Tony

Congratulations, Tony! I really enjoyed that book and just bought it for my daughter. I know she'll like it, too. Thanks for letting us know. I am so behind in doing reviews but when I get a chance I'll review it on Amazon, too.

How wonderful, Helen! I hope she enjoys it, too. The published version has been considerably pruned and has a greater focus on seahorse conservation and the relationship between Ant and Dorrie. All good wishes, Tony

Ah. But I loved the information about the aboriginal culture that you shared in the book!

Yes, all of that has been retained.
