VERY well done. No wonder Jane is the way she is - talk about entitlement, pride, and arrogance! You and Rachelle both showed remarkable restraint - but dropping her off is the best possible outcome. I have thoroughly enjoyed accompanying you and Rachelle on this hilarious journey - but it has its insights about human nature, and relationships which make it especially meaningful.

Hmmmm. The members are going to be so disappointed! They all thought Jane was a goner on this trip! Naively, so did I! Who would have thought Jane would be saved by her nemesis, the low-class Dixie chick, who takes pity on a limo driver! But gawd knows she's not plugged in enough to ever be beholden to anyone for gifts they have bestowed!
Fun chapter, to be sure - especially learning about Jane's heritage. (At least it explains her dirty poetry!!)
I loved the comment about High School Musical!! (And - thanks SO much, Gretchen, because now I'm going to have that stupid song stuck in my head for the remainder of the evening.) It's a good thing I like you so much!!
I also love the Enhanced Southern Belle you become, solely and exclusively for the hilarity of it all at Jane's (again, oblivious) expense as she blathers on, continuing to spout off her "pedigree" from the back seat. That was a GREAT touch!!

I cannot believe you're not going to turn her over to the limo driver. The driver gets paid to listen to passengers. He'll probably get a raise! Also, he would probably close the window between them. Ha!

But even Janes can change, I've met people that that have nearly died because of their downward flighted lifestyles, but now you wouldn't recognise them from any 'normal' citizen, and that's just in our church heh heh, it shocks you when you hear their testimony, beautifully written Gretchen, blessings Roy

I don't know how you do it. Poop on the white rug. Entitlement and porn stars. Somehow I must have missed this chapter before so I have already been shopping on the journey. You are excellent at poking fun and entertaining, but the underlying message to me seems clear. The dark side is a scary place, and you have to hang on for dear life sometimes or you WILL lose your soul. Good writing. Esther

A very nice chapter, and you make some point. Not sure about that no one is better than anyone else. It's a pleasant sentiment, but reality and world aren't pleasant. Good addition to the story. I would suggest increasing the font size by one factor.
