Hi Barbara, surely, Sami will get over her insecurities. I'm sure Noah will be able to overcome it. Now, it's time to get this story moving. I'm looking forward to it. Ulla xcx

What does it take to make Sami happy? She is all the things they've said she it. They should hand her over to Mataeo just so they won't have to put up with her insecurities. With the security he has, she'd be safe. There is good news that more girls and some boys have been rescued. What an ugly lot these human traffickers are! Now it remains to find out if there's someone higher up than Chen controlling the operations. Lots of action in this. Sami needs to let Noah finish the job and then see where things go. That's what Noah has been trying to do. judi

Ah Sami and Noah are becoming closer and closer, sometimes I forget how short the time is concerning the length of time the relationship between Noah and Sami has developed, Noah and his crew are succeeding with the shutting down of Chen's operation. Where to now, a great story Barbara, blessings Roy

I don't know how you keep it going, but you do. I look forward to the ending and , at the same time I don't want it to end. You have a good week. Karen

This was another great chapter, Barbara, I can feel that things are steadily making their way towards a conclusion. The tension is really turning up a notch as well, which I really like. An excellent piece, I really enjoyed reading it.

Well written and edited. It's your story but I would really think about the way your adult characters speak and act (not speaking about sex or cursing). It almost seems like this is their first relationship. At their age that's unlikely.
notes:

"I'm with you twenty-four-seven. The only time we aren't together is when we're sleeping. My feelings for you grow stronger every day. I'm messing up more and more. I'm worried I'm putting your job at risk."

Sami stood. "I don't want to have this conversation." She knocked on the door and yelled, "Somebody open the door."
-Suggest combining these two. If the first is Sami speaking.

Jose opened the door. "Sami, is everything all right?"

-This is an overused line in the story (most stories) Everyone is constantly asking if the female protagonist is okay or worried about her. All the time. Like she is a baby.

I moved the two closer together. I'll consider the second part, but to me Jose would ask if everything is all right or why would she want somebody to open the door. She's with Noah. Thank you for the kind review.

This is a very nicely written story about a subject. That is very timely right now with the human trafficking that is going on in our country. I enjoyed reading it. I am also pleased with the fact that you had so much dialogue going on that it made it very interesting to read. God bless you. You have a wonderful week and may you find that you're writing is always very well done. Patricia.

Another outstanding yet informative chapter. It seems like things are wrapping up nicely.

Sami is a bit emotional but there is no telling how one would react being kicked down for so long.

Good stuff

Well at last, Noah is admitting to himself, and to Sami that he has fallen in love with her. That may help Sami to relax a bit and not worry about future rejection. Another well-written chapter!

Fabulous chapter. I'm so happy that Noah finally said the words "I love you". I'm sure Sami was even happier. I'm sure she knew but there is nothing like hearing it. So, now that all of the sex shops have been shut down, Noah has to leave. Why do I feel like the other shoe is going to drop? Gretchen
