I have a serious aversion to Western-themed stories because of my husband's addiction to John Wayne movies and yet I enjoyed this fun, humorous read with those likable characters. Very good job.

Wonderful, feel-good humour, a delight to read. I love the characters which you portray so skilfully in their dialogue and the punning is superb. I always come away with a smile on my face too. So your script ticks all the boxes for me. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

In dialogue, I believe a character's true nature is revealed more through their words than through the actions the writer assigns them. A story moves smoother and faster through dialogue and you have shown us each of your characters very well. The reference of the way old movies were made - clean and straightforward - not smutty is a nice change. Well done.

Thank you so much for your kind review. I must admit I mostly just watch older movies, ha ha.

What drove you to write a piece like this? A dream? An incantation? Corny is what made Kellogg a lode or cache of coins. Did you ever do vaudeville?

Thanks for your time and review. I actually tried comedy improv for about a month about 18 years ago but decided that I liked writing comedy better. I really like Classic Hollywood movies, Danny Kaye and Abbott and Costello movies and all the comedic TV shows from the 1960s best. The cleaner, the better!

This is a really cute western script. I loved the characters names and how they reference popular actors and other well know characters in popular movies, and/or shows. You did a good job good luck and have a blessed day

I love how your character's personalities come through in your dialogue, you do a brilliant job of making them feel like real people and I could really picture the scene before me. I think I particularly like Gus and his sense of humour, you had me smiling a few times when I read his lines of dialogue. I really enjoyed reading your piece.
