I love your tender poem about the beautiful creature, a butterfly.
One day I was sitting outside walmart Waiting for the bus, and I was feeling down. A beautiful yellow butterfly kept circling around me as if he knew I needed cheering up. After a few minutes, he flew away.

A nice nonet, Patricia. The picture is beautiful, and they do bring delight to our eyes. I've been to a butterfly park and had several land on my head and my hands. It's a wonderful experience to hold them. Thanks for sharing. Blessings. Carol

When I was a young girl, I found one. Its wing had been injured, and it couldn't fly. I kept it in an old aquarium and brought flowers to it. I felt so bad. I think that's when my first attachment (a lifelong one) began. They have meant so many things to me through the year. Beautiful!

Well you did not say that this was a Nonet poem, and therefore, it starts with ten syllables. This is clever, and to me shows the doings of a creative mind. It is a beautiful poem about one of God's precious creatures. (Just a crazy thought, I have them occasionally. Perhaps, this may be called a Decemlet, from the Latin word for ten,decem, and because it is written in descending order.)

Butterflies and even some moths are quite beautiful. I think a butterfly looks like it's wings are made of stain glass. It tickles when they land on you. And despite the misconception that they can't fly if you rub the powder off of their wings, they actually can. Gretchen
