I'm sure these two worlds will marry up, but right now I have no clue how it's going to happen. I can't wait to find out.

She knew the direction this concersation was heading. (conversation)

    Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for the six stars and for the lovely review!! There's a little lead in to where the story is heading. As before, I start in the outside, then lead in to the valley.
    Thanks for finding the mistake!!
    Hugs,
    Rhonda

I should have read your heading better because I was a little surprised by the change of setting for this chapter. Now I understand. It sounds as if things have changed little in modern times and, despite Cassie's persistence, Diantha is conceding at the moment to her parents' choice of future husband. Horses are very much themed here so I'm wondering if Phoebus in his new guise will be staging an appearance. This introduction to Diandra and Cassie is skilfully done to warm the reader to both characters. Excellent dialogue, presentation and a lovely hook to end on. Well done, Rhonda! Debbie xo

    Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend!
This chapter was a little banal for my usual, but it's setting the stage for what is about to happen, and explains why it will happen. I changed it up a bit to show Diantha's secret feelings about the arranged marriage. And, yes, Phoebus will return, lol.
    Thanks again,
    Hugs

I was wondering when Diantha would enter the picture. I knew she had come from the humans like Echo. She actually has Echo's spunk and spirited nature. A beautiful young lady inside and out, and I can see why her friend wants more for her than what's his name.

A wonderfully written and illustrated chapter for the book, my friend!
Superb!
Sending you my best today as always, and Love & Blessings across the bridge.

    Hi Sally,
Thank you so much for getting onboard early with the story. I sent it in right before I left to go celebrate with my sister. We had a great time. Kylie was with her sister, too, and went to sleep very quicky tonight.
Thanks for taking time to leave comments, especially under the circumstances...
Diantha will be a lot like Echo, or actually, the reverse. It's one reason Theo feels so connected to her. I will end up bringing that out more before I publish Return to Concorde Valley. I will also bring Cassie in to the second book.

Thank you for all you do,
    Big hugs,
    Rhonda

Love the description, but love the friendship and their honest dialogue more. I have feeling that things aren't going to remain the same between the two friends. I look forward to learning much more.

    Hi Carol,
The friends will remain friends in their hearts, but I'm afraid they will soon part company. It won't be due to lack of affection for each other, but Diantha's need to get away.

    Big hugs,
    Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda......time traveling, eh? What are you up to, where are you going with the story? Definitely intriguing. Looking forward to seeing the past and present linked up.

Yes, a bit of Dr. Who here. Poor Phoebus will be stuck for many years alone and, well, a Centaur. They'll meet up soon enough.
    Thanks for the review,

This is a great start to what I'm sure will be a very exciting and unique story. I can't wait to read more. I can't wait to read a chapter featuring Phoebus. I'll have to go back to chapter 1. Good luck with this story and happy writing!

    Hi sweet Lindsey,
I'm so glad you're joining in. I would be so glad to get your perspective on the storyline and characters.
Phoebus will return, but he won't quite know who he is, or was on Mount Olympus.
    Again, thanks so much,
    Hugs,
    Rhonda
