I know when my friends since the 80's and I get together, every Monday for lunch, we laugh and bring back good times, and sometimes, not so good times, but share them together. I enjoyed reading. Thank you for causing me to smile.

Let me first say, I love your chosen image. It reminded me of my sister and myself and the closeness we share - two little old ladies. It's a straight-forward poem that doesn't describe or delve into any issues but just states the facts. It's an every person poem because it leaves it to the reader to decide what the old ladies are talking about, remembering and reliving. I think the use of "These" in line 1 instead of say, Some or or just "Old", or even two, upsets the concept of any old ladies. Still, I liked the nonet.

What a cute picture! It makes me want to laugh with these two ladies. I'd suggest 'trouble(d) lives' and 'they('ve) lived,' to keep the verb tense more current, to match your other verbs. Otherwise, a cute poem. Blessings. Carol
