Amen sister! If I capitalize it then know it is from spell check and not me. He is not worthy of anything of that honor as you say! I plead the blood over you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. And I tell satan to go back to the pits off hell with his imps where they all belong. Jesus died for our healing and I am claiming that healing over your eyes and body right now in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen

Thanks Teri, I got into a specialist today and I will be going in every two days for treatment and have a contact over it. It is the cornea that was damaged and they are hoping to fix it without surgery. Hopefully they caught it in time and the blindness is not permanent.
Thanks so much for your prayers and kindness, my dear friend. Love, Debi

I appreciate this poem about looking to Christ to find encouragement and happiness despite ongoing difficult circumstances. The rhyming couplet form worked for me.

This is beautifully done and I enjoyed very much listening to it. It flows very well when it is read aloud. I wish you a very good day and I do hope that you will find your problems with the Covid. Come to an end quickly. I am in the process of getting over a very bad summer cold and I'm still coughing a lot. Patricia.

Awesome Debi! I totally agree with the message in your poem. I really liked the rhyming and the message here. I like the faith as well and sorry to hear about your Covid. That dreaded disease! My sister died from it too, so I am not a fan. Keep up the good work here!

Oh wow! I just had my eyes examined this weekend because of type 2diabetes and that always worries me. I hope they don't have to do surgery. Good Luck!

I am so sorry to hear of your troubles with Covid, if this is, indeed, biographical, my friend. Yes, when we are beset by difficulties, it is hard to understand, but all the more reason to lean into our best friend and Saviour.

-Beautiful artwork and presentation, Debi.
-A well written poem with effective imagery and rhyme.
-A good opening couplet, followed by the problem
with your eye. I am sorry to hear that, and hope
it is better soon.
-You make a good point about people suffering
and not necessarily seeing a bright future ahead.
-I like your closing lines with effective images
describing the bright side and also sharing
positive messages about it.
-Very well done.

My spellchecker doesn't like it if I change the S to a capital, so I don't care, he's certainly not my friend. As a matter of fact, I don't blame him for tempting me, that's His job, I blame myself for even thinking it's him, it's not, Jesus overcame him, so he has no part with me, I'm the one who knows better. No glory goes to him. This is beautifully written Debi, blessings Roy

Hi Roy, not sure if you were agreeing or disagreeing with me. I didn't understand too well as I am dealing with some big stuff right now so trying to keep my thinking on the bright side right now. If I said something wrong please let me know as you know I always respect your views so much. Thanks so very much, my dear friend...but I was just trying to understand what you were saying.. love, Debi

Satan's just a name to me but not significant because of Jesus. He's Being used by God, whether we use a capital is merely a technicality, but he will drive the elect to God, i would never let that come between us. It's just interesting that my spellchecker automatically changes it to a capital, just a convention.

i love your heart and your work.

And I love you!

Bless you dear girl

Dear Debi, I'm so sorry to hear your Covid eye is still plaguing you. When I read your lovely and poignantly expressed verse, I couldn't help being reminded of dear Dolly Parton who said the following:
Life is "like a battery that has to have a positive and a negative. One doesn't work without the other. You've gotta have the good and the bad in order to know what's right and in order to know what's real and what ain't."
As you say, don't dwell on the bad (we're none of us perfect). Focus on the good, the bright side. Blasted bug! Love Debbie

Hi Debbie, yes, I do try to keep the attitude of looking for the bright side, however fear has set in which I usually don't allow to happen. Even with my kidneys as bad as they are, being barely able to walk, so many things with my lupus. But all of a sudden to be blind in the one eye and not sure what the other one is going to do I have to admit this time I am scared.
Thanks for the lovely review and comments and I will continue to look on the bright side unless I find that this blindness is permanent and then not sure what my next plan will be. I am trying to be optimistic for now. Thanks again, my dear friend. Love, Debi
