Hello Rachelle,
another delightful chapter in this saga gal. Well done. For some reason I thought Tova was a man. I'm not up on Jewish names I guess. I loved the way you were overcome by the singing. Music has such power to influence feelings doesn't it? What a blessing to be able to hear. Thanks for sharing this gal.
Have a blessed night.
Tom

Tevya is the man's name (were you thinking Fiddler on the Roof, maybe?) Tova is the woman's version.

Thank you for this enthusiastic review. I always look forward to whatever you write. xoxxo

I would pay good money for a visual of your outfit. If you're lucky you will be able to fill up on homemade blueberry muffins with butter before too long.

You and Gretchen certainly have different ideas about your visit with the Amish. You are probably hungry as so much food is made with pork, but their music gives you a reason to know religious joy.

This is very nice and well written addition to your Multi-book. You do a good job of bringing the reader into the world with you (or your character of you). We can smell the food, and pork, and hear the singing.

Good work

In my last post, I tried to describe my voice lessons and audition for a choir. I therefore enjoyed your description of Solomon singing a perfect 'A,' in perfect pitch. Also, your well-chosen words allowed me to imagine the beauty of blended voices singing Amazing Grace. I'd have to turn down the pork dishes also, for health reasons. See you in the next chapter.

I'll have to check that out! Thanks for the tip. I'll love reading that post of yours about your audition and voice lessons.

Thanks for the nice review about this chapter, too. I always love to read what you write. xxoxo

"goats ate my beautiful hemp suitcases" lol poor Rachelle... it's good to read about your transformation from your phone call desperation and the joy of teaching music to a chorus of naturaly gifted angelic singers. I know this story is frictional but it sounds like it's a nonfiction adventure. I'm sorry I'm out of sixes.

Well done!

That is the ULTIMATE compliment!! That's way better than a six any day. Thank you, Gypsy. xoxo

And if only Helene would sacrifice a pullet or two.
Nicely written.
I can't imagine how anyone untrained and without ever having the use of an instrument could produce a given musical note.
Best wishes.

It's true, though; that is the magic of perfect pitch. It's the gift of musical memory.

Thanks for the review, Wayne! xoxo

'Amazing Grace' done correctly always gives me goosebumps and brings tears. I do understand. I am really enjoying this story. I am going to miss when you two are rescued.

I am not Jewish Rachelle but I would certainly struggle with that diet and I would be joining your with the blueberries and rice pudding! Your separate plea to be rescued made me smile, especially the request for new clothes! As always this is a magical post full of humour and your cleverly delivered story is very entertaining, love Dolly x x x

What an enjoyable read! Your humor and added tidbits of info regarding the family and their lifestyle adds so much to it. I loved the part of their singing...especially Amazing Grace. Awesome!
