It looks like the beginning of a new book, that you are cooking Carol, you're really burning as an author of great stories, I admire your work, your heart is similar to mine, you want evil to depart this world, and love and goodness to take its rightful place, well done, blessings Roy

This looks to be a good one. So many ways to go. Will Paula Pogletti, contestant from New Jersey in 1995 have closure? Will they find out that when she threw up her lighted baton into the air, that Tommy Angelo ( her ex- boyfriend) caught it and sent back the dynamite? Soooooo many questions. :-)

This sounds like a rather long blurb for a great story, or it could be a prologue. I know I want to read it because I have to find out how the father of the dead girl ended up in prison. You are off to a great start.

It's the prologue to the story. Chapter One is sitting and waiting to get under way. A few of our characters returning and few new ones should make it an interesting story I hope. Thanks for starting another one with me.

I see Matthew will have role in this murder mystery, as will Eleanor and Jenna. Hmm, maybe Jenna and Matthew become closer than friends. Hmmm. I can't wait to read more.

Since this is an international pageant, MAYBE GArth will wonder into the story as well as we get deeper into it. I know that will make you happy. I think you might also enjoy the new addition..Helen's granddaughter who Eleanor has taken under her wing. Should be interesting.

It seems that ghosts play a part in almost everything these days, with your third story in a row. Which leads me to believe there might be some internal backstory at work here. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

You might be striking a chord or two, my dear. But what ever is happening, I am thrilled and happy to be writing furiously again. the deeper I get into writing, the easier it is to shut out the darkness that lurks around me. I'm all sunshine and happiness today!

Hurrah! Me either! I sat here (after cutting trees for three days after the storm) and couldn't stand not posting the end of the story....so I started thinking and another one said let's go! I hope you like this one as it develops as well as the last. Thank you, Beth!

Goodness ! It doesn't take you long to get started again. This sounds like a rip-roaring yarn. Glad to see that Eleanor Bennett has wafted into the cast list to work a bit more magic!

Of course, I just couldn't let her go, Tony. she cast a sweet spell on my heart and I hope the hearts of my readers as well. And now she has brought her granddaughter along for the ride as well... a spicey throwback to say the least.

WHAT? Another book already! How has your mind not needed some thinking time? Or recovery time from your extreme work of the last month? This promises to be exciting and compelling too. Can't wait to see how this one unfolds.
Well written first chapter - plenty of hooks here.

Well, I was riding this high and had finished Unfinished Brushstrokes in advance and the exhilaration just made me keep writing. I will try to take this one at a slower pace, but I can't promise anything. LOL Besides, I couldn't let my characters go.
