Wow, now you've gone and tugged at my heartstrings exposing my soft side. But don't tell anyone and spoil my tough image. LOL. Outstanding chapter! And at the risk of sounding repetitive, I wish I had a six.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm just happy you enjoyed it and even though I tugged at your heartstrings, you didn't find it too sappy. I got emotional as I finished up the book and said goodbye to Eleanor. I'm always sappy. LOL thanks so much as always,

Well, don't tell anyone but, I'm sort of a sappy guy too. :-)

How beautiful and moving. The inclusion of the letters was sweet touch. You are bringing this story to a happy ending for these central characters, as well as an appropriate ending for the criminals. Well done.

Wow... Thank you Wendy! Yes the last few chapters I write in tears...that's what I get for being a bleeding heart softy. Happy endings are the best! Thank you so much... It ended up having two more chapters... I hope you enjoy them.

You tied this together neatly. I'm thinking the letters must be from a housekeeper that lived in the adoptive families home but I don't know how she came to be so close to Eleanor. I'm hoping to find out why Eleanor was murdered. I'm sure Eleanor much have learned he was stealing her painting and replacing them with forgeries. Killing her wouldn't have made the value of her art go up since she was painting under and an assumed name. I don't even know how he killed her.

You missed a few things...but that was easy to do. He put poison in her sugar bowl ...the sugar she used in her tea. That's why Eleanor knocked it from her hand when Jenna was giving Helen tea. The reason was because when she argued with Jackson about her missing painting, she began to have suspicions that he was replacing them and the judge was selling them overseas. The human trafficking was a side gig among others. The letters .. still to come!
    Hope that helped!

Awwwwwww!!!!!!! That was so lovely! I do sincerely hope that Charles is allowed to see the love of his life one more time, to have the three of them together, Charles, Eleanor and Jenna, the family they should have been. This was truly a beautiful chapter, my lovely, warm-hearted friend. Well done. I can't wait to read the last two chapters. Love you lots. Sandra xxxx

Hugs and kisses! LOL... I must admit this old softy cried while writing these chapters... I could imagine the emotions that they felt and it was awesome. Silly ole me!

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it. It's 4:30 in the morning. I am crying but most of all I am blessed!

Ugh! The tears are making the poison ivy itch.... Oh well, it's worth it!

    Thank you so much....
