Hi Teri, this is so weird that you were here tonight because I came onto FS tonight partly to find you. And here you are in my review box. You sweetie, you. I got your card today in the mail and it was so nice. I loved all of it. Thank you so very much. I just love you so much!! Thank you again!

I so appreciate your kind words and sharing the same feelings about the politics here getting a little too loud. I'd hate to see anyone lose a friendship with anyone over the election this year.

So thanks again, my dear friend for your very kind comments.
    Love, Debi

Your poem addresses the sensitive issue of political differences with a tone of respectful dialogue and personal conviction. It effectively emphasizes the importance of maintaining friendships despite differing beliefs and avoiding hostility. The structure and rhyme scheme contribute to a smooth and approachable read, reinforcing the message of mutual respect and understanding. Your commitment to not judging or holding grudges, despite strong opinions, is clearly articulated. Overall, the poem fosters a constructive approach to political discourse, advocating for unity and respect amidst disagreement.

After all, God is the ultimate judge;
It's not our place to hold a grudge.
Respect and love should lead the way--
In the end, it's His role to weigh.

Awe, yes, Patty. Sounds like we are on the same page as far as values and beliefs. I don't pretend to be perfect, but I do try to follow God's will the best I can. Thanks so much for your kind comments. Your little poem was heartwarming. Thanks again, my friend. Love, Debi

So well said. I am out of six star ratings or you would receive one for this. It is a shame that people can't just allow one another to have their own opinions. If we all thought the same, we would be robots.

Thanks Monica, I appreciate that virtual six just as much. It means a lot to me and yes, we need to stand together even if far apart on our views because that is what is ruining our country.

Thanks for the kind review and comments, my sweet friend.. love, Debi

You are very welcome, Debi. There are family members who actually are torn apart by their political views. That is a very sad thing.

Well said my little Chickadee! "Judge not lest ye be judged." Jesus was not all meek and mild, remember when he whipped the money changers out of the Temple? But he always had an answer for the people that sought him out. "If a man ask for your singlet, give him your coat also." Today, coats would be stolen from someone's back. Your poem spoke to me and I pray it will speak to others without humility. Your mate, Kace xx

You are such a Sweetie Pie, as I love that you see that there is too much judging. The fact that I am not a Biden fan does not make me a trump fan.

But I am a republican because they have more Christian values. Under democrats is where you find the laws that go against God's law.
That is why I wrote this because it is so much judging and I hated to see friendships lost because of it.

So thank you so very much for all the kind comments and the generous six stars too, dear friend. You and they mean the world to me. Love ya, Debi

This is an excellent poem that states a very special message. We don't have to agree. We do have to respect the other person. Friendships have been destroyed for lack of consideration.

Your message is so important. Our country is so divided now. Thank God that Trump didn't get shot. If he was shot to death, I worry it will be a civil war in this country. I really like this line of your poem: Remember we want the same thing. Yes.

Excellent.

Thank you so very much, Lisa. I agree and I am so glad that he wasn't killed too. It came so close that it is almost like he had an angel right there with him.
I wrote this because there is so much anti-Trump here and haters. I hate to see so much hate from otherwise good people. It had gotten to the point that I was afraid to admit that I am a republican because it is more true to my beliefs and values. But it started to sound like a dirty word, so I kept it to myself. That is why I wrote the poem, hoping to get people to settle down a little. Thank you for your six stars, that I am so honored to get.

I so appreciate your kind words and sharing the same feelings about the politics getting out of hand. I'd hate to see anyone here lose a friendship with anyone over the election this year.

So thanks again, my dear friend for your very kind comments.

Wouldn't that be wonderful...I can not understand how some people can stand and say this is how it should be and no other way.... But then they would be offended if the tables were turned. I agree that we should agree to disagree.

Thanks so very much, Carol, you are so sweet. Yes, it was to the point after reading reviews on some anti-Trump posts that I was afraid to say that I am a Republican. I am because it stands more for Christian values. So I cannot believe there are not more here. Being a republican doesn't say I am a Trump fan or not one.

I so appreciate your kind words and sharing the same feelings about the politics here getting out of hand. I'd hate to see anyone lose a friendship with anyone over the election this year.

Cleverly put together and voicing what many are trying to say. Do not cast friendships aside for what they believe. Make your choice when need be but politics is not worth the loss of friends. Well written Debi. Thanks for sharing.

Take care.

Well said, Debi. Two things that cause division in this country are politics and religion. We are free people with free will. My opinion may not match someone else's, but I don't push my agenda on anyone else. I am religious, but I don't force that on anyone. It would be nice if everyone shared the respect.
Thank you for sharing and I hope this is read by many.
God bless,
Steve
