Wow, eight stanzas of truth! Nice twist on the prompt.
With everything going on, I keep shaking my head...the Emperor has no clothes!! I fear there will be no good change. The corruption is so widespread and so dug in, I fear our freedom may be an illusion. I hope I'm wrong.

It sounds like the US has become more lawless under the present regime. Also the world as a whole has deteriorated without a strong US leader. I expect Trump will take charge once he is elected and make some changes to improve life over there. We are having a general election soon as I fear for our country if the Labour party get in. Politics has a profound effect on us as citizens. A poignant and amusing post with a serious undertone, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

I hope we last long enough for Trump to take over! Good luck with your government there, l don't know much about it, but l hope to visit my brother there one day, so l need to study it. Thanks for reading. :)
