Finally!!! Okay, now we can proceed with the story without worrying about Noah's and Sami's feelings for each other. Hopefully we can get the bad guys locked up without a lot of trouble.

That was a lot of steamy build up to the first kiss.
There is some subtle foreshadowing to the upcoming confrontation in the beginning of this chapter. I like that you are building suspense.

What an unusual way of deciding if the feelings are real, I guess those things are a long way behind me, but I do remember how important physical attraction is to the young, your female heroes are always feisty, courageous, independent and sure of themselves, unless around an attractive male like Noah, beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy

Well, she seems to have forgiven him - sealed with that sizzling kiss. But now they will have to be very restrained, and keep everything together intil Noah comes up with a plan to keep her safe.

Hello Barbara,
this couple has sure had it's ups and downs for just knowing each other a very short time. Frankly, I don't believe Noah didn't notice Sami's body, if it was that appealing, but perhaps he's a much better man than me. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I would think that once the fire has been started, it will be hard to hold it back. Of course its against all the rules. I only hope that Noah can keep his head in the game and keep her safe until the jerks are apprehended,

The team should have made doubly sure Sami didn't overhear when they were discussing Sami being paid for and how. She was bound to be upset, although she wouldn't have been in that position if she hadn't been over-zealous and put herself in danger. Of course, they went into details that offended her. Yes, they're going to have to come up with a plan to protect Sami. They can't keep her in custody forever. It would be best for Sami and Noah if she gets out of there as soon as possible so they can get on with normal lives. Sami is making things difficult for Noah. I don't think he's the right choice for her, but she seems to need a hero figure. Oh, my, I'm going on about them as if they were real people. judi

LOL One never knows. Unfortunately, my novels are character driven and often argue with me. I always end writing what that want. I often don't know until it's done.

I do understand. My characters wake me up between 2:30 and 3:00 to have a chat. I am not at all happy about that.

Your novel continues well. I don't know why except that i have a trivia factory in my head, but the relationship between Noah and Sami reminded me of a line from the original "King Kong". Carl Denham says of Kong that he was the king oof his world "But when he saw beauty he forgot his wisdom and the little guys got him".
