Madeline has met Esther, in real life they would have been friends, but they met after life for Esther was over, but I suppose does it matter when, all I know is that we have friends a family for eternity, and time has nothing to do with anything, well done, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. I believe if they ever get out of this, Esther will be waiting at Heaven's Gate for Madeline when her time comes. At least I my mind, it's an awesome thought.

Completely pure hearts simply don't exist. Sins of the flesh won't allow it. Lovers and friends, I'd like to know the difference. The good and the bad: the worst sides often the better. Okay, I'm still a silly boy at heart. Thanks for sharing.

Well, silly boy, I am a romantic maiden with just a dash or two of spices hidden in my pocket...what's better than sugar and spice making everything nice. And a darn good bottle of wine makes the stars twinkle, the moon shine brighter, and the fair maiden blush. Now there's a silly girl at heart.LOL Must be that hit in the head I got .....

I can't wait to see who's really there. This is a great story.

She chose a nice grassy spot along the river bank and sat down, patting the ground beside her. "Come sit for a while. Please tell me what's bothering you. You should (riverbank & you can omit 'down')

"Thank you for talking to me. It's impossible for me to believe all the horrible things that were said about you."
Madeline chuckled softly. "Believe them. Until I met you, I wasn't a nice person. Maybe -- is it possible that changing my heart was part of your mission for redemption?" (spacing issue)

I'm glad that you are enjoying this story because I don't have many followers anymore and never know if I'm on the right track or not. Appreciate your help and suggestions. And of course, the awesome stars!

You and your cliff hangers will be the death of me. Lol!
This chapter was a touching scene of revealing the family that had been torn apart.
You've been doing this all along, but for some reason it finally struck me...the ghosts cannot hide their emotions because they are reflected in their shimmering, strengthening and fading of their forms. Can you imagine if that happened to us!?
Great chapter, no corrections noted.
Julie

Oh I went an added a dose of poison ivy to it as well. Just keep piling it on! LOL

CAROL!! What are we going to do with you!?! Best poison ivy relief I've ever found is Zanfel. It's pricy, but works quickly and stops the spread.

Just one thing after another I guess...Old lady can't stay out of trouble. At least my shoulder and head don't hurt as much...instead I can concentrate on not itching my arms. LOL

I've been there. Introduced as an adult to family I had never met as a child. It's exhilarating, yet confusing and hard to process. You did a good job of conveying that here.

Thanks so much, Nicole. My late husband was an adult when he found out he'd been adopted too. I remember distinctly how he felt. Thanks for reading and the review.
