I think that's the way mistrust and faith's destroyed, firstly by parents, lovers or friends, but when one understands where to put their trust, I think that's the beginning of wisdom, well done Gypsy, blessings Roy

She has inspired me in many ways.
This is a very deep and heartfelt poem and the bkack and dark tones emphasize the mood.
I always breathe a breath of fresh air when her words of 'I rise' rescues me.

I've never read much of her poetry. But what I did read was very stirring. The dark place could have been physical or emotional. I saw a person watching, giving herself the tiniest bit of freedom to live outside of herself briefly. Beautifully written. Gretchen
