What aq nice memory! Today I was feeding flocks of geese friends when I was told not to do it near our facility's sidewalks as they, well, you know. I feel as if I let down a bunch of friends.

I have lived many places and over the years hung out a variety of hummingbird feeders. This lovely entry has brought back some wonderful memories of getting to spend time sitting outside watching those brilliant little creatures enjoying the sweet refreshment being provided. :-)

That sounds like something that you will always remember. Your story creates a very amazing and beautiful picture in my mind. I love humming birds. I grew up with them being all around me in my grandma's flower garden.

An excellent entry for the True Story Flash contest. What a great memory to have. Even if you had a camera there was probably no way you could have gotten to it and taken the picture before scaring the bird away. Sometimes memories are even nicer than pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I KNOW! How cool is that? (I've tried these in the past and inevitably find that I'm "over" and have to do some editing)

I find them quite difficult to do as well. yes, they do require some editing.
