With that bra scene, I'm assuming Sami is also a woman who has been sheltered growing up and therefore is a virgin with little to no experience around men.
The cast is still all nice, good people. Odd for government workers/ law enforcement but...
The writing and editing are solid. I would wonder about the pacing and engagement factor of the story, but if you and your fans approve of this style then it is the right one.

Sami is not a virgin. More will come out later. Plus, earlier I said she spent the weekends with Marc. HMMM!!! The bra scene has nothing to do with innocence or sheltered but with the perceived stringent rules of Noah. Thank you for the kind review.

Noah seems to be going back and forth between trying to stay aloof from Sami, and then trying to get closer to him. He talks about the decorum of his job, and then he ends up hugging her back anyway. Chemistry is hard to ignore. estory

Blueberry scones sound delicious. Your characters are so concerned about everyone's feelings. Maybe they should just let things develop. Interesting that Sami now seems to be the one doing the pursuing. Noah has been able to keep things pretty professional so far. This is quite a change for Sami, as she was so rebellious at first. I can't imagine what being in a safe house would be like, but what you're doing with the situation sounds pretty realistic. Great job. You must be having a great time with family. judi

I fully understand the danger of their getting close can put them in. I believe also that if something should even come close to harming Sami, Noah would no doubt go off the deep end and act out of character which could cause further problems. Being emotionally connected is risky at best. But it makes me happy to know that hey have at last acknowledged their feelings for each other.
