Well, there seems to be some final redeeming qualities. Victoria didn't keep the book but destroyed it. And she herself seemed to have repented in the end, asking for forgiveness. Perhaps even the villainess can still be redeemed in the end.

Yes, Victoria saw the light and what she was losing because of her ways, but sacrificed herself and the book while doing it. Hopefully it was not too little too late. Thanks so much, Helen.

Madeline may have done something heroic by destroying the book before the evil shadows could get it. Billy, who must be Esther's grandson who willingly went to Purgatory to rescue his father and grandfather seems to be the wild card Sebastian and Sandra need.

I think you might be onto to something there, Carol. Billy will learn a lot in the near future and also trigger a very important memory I think.

I hope Sebastian is rigght and there is still a way. Victoria's choice would have otherwise hugely far reaching consequences. Your writing is excellent - so descriptive with the vivid eerie and frightening scenes. Well done. looking forward to the next.

Thanks so much, Wendy and I apologize for my delay. Had to take a break from the computer and listen to my dr. Ugh! But I've decided I need to answer my reviews and then I'll take the break. Have a great day!

Hi, Begin Again. I like the chapters in this book. I see my Victoria from the 19th century. But, Sandra is from the 32dt! Just trying to get the background.
Tim sounds dreamy. In all of these female detective stories and shows, there is always a man who rescues them. Male detectives don't need that in Society.
Of course, that helps with romance.
Below should be Sebastian's or him to Sebastian
" Esther's eyes shifted from his to Sebastian and then back again. She struggled to speak. "You remember "
Among many other images that I love were
Loved fingers of terror
and unsettling thoughts dancing
Well done. Thank you for sharing.

Just an update for you...Tim isa ghost who happens to be Sandra's deceased father who disappeared when she was four. Sandra is not aware that he is her father yet. And thank you for catching my error. Appreciate all the help I can get.

I too hate the creepy stuff but without some of it...it's not a ghost story, right? LOL I like to add my undercurrents of love and faith, hoping that someone might benefit from it as well. Thank you so much for the review and your kindness.

The ghosts were blocking her way so she did what she thought was best... Now to figure out how to decipher the clues that William is mumbling without the book...Is it possible? Smiling at you, my friend. Have a great vacation.
